Cockburns Port were in need of a microsite to run a competition for them, in the lead up to Christmas.
However it wasn't your typical competition of one winner. They wanted to have a 12 days of Christmas campaign where they would have a different prize and winner everyday until the best prize was won on the 12th day.
This was a brilliant idea for a competition, but it needed to be displayed in the correct way for a user to understand. 12 prizes all needed to be explained on the one page, without there being copious amounts of text and keeping the user engaged. This is where the tiled images came in, you could just hover over each day to find out the prize details for that day (and those in the future). The messaging above the competition form would also update everyday so a user was aware which prize they were entering for. Once that day had passed it would fade out so a user was aware it was no longer up for grabs.
